Painting Company Training

Painting company training that gets people ready for the real job.

Few painting companies have access to dedicated training and development. Our partners do. Every Aleph partner team gets our world-class training in Aleph Academy, the platform we built to onboard, train and certify the people who sell, schedule, produce and market the work.

We don’t believe there’s a knowledge gap in this industry. We believe there’s an execution gap. Good training closes part of it: when every new hire learns the same proven way to do the job, the owner stops being the only person who knows how.

A Path for Every Seat

A painter training program built around the roles you actually hire.

Each person gets the paths for their role, in order. The next step unlocks when the last one is done, so nobody skips the foundation.

01

New employee onboarding

Everyone starts with the new employee path, built from the employee handbook, plus workplace standards training. Role training opens after.

02

Sales

The Aleph Sales Model, step by step, from arriving at the home through the walk-around, the proposal and handling objections, plus how to spec primers, stains and repairs.

03

Coordination

Running the schedule, the morning inbox, work and material orders, and the customer emails and calls that keep jobs moving.

04

Customer experience

Reading Net Promoter feedback, handling escalations, replying to Google reviews, and reactivating past clients.

05

Production & project managers

Running a job from start to finish and knowing the margin on it, including the math behind the production report.

06

Marketing

The marketing plan and tracking, neighborhood marketing, door-to-door canvassing, and flyer delivery.

Hands-On Practice

Painting sales training they can practice out loud.

Every course is interactive. Lessons are short, and each one is followed by practice that checks it. Nothing gets tested that wasn’t taught first.

01

Simulated tools.

When a course teaches a tool a new hire can’t safely use on a real job yet, we simulate it. Reps spec a practice exterior estimate, line by line: wash, prep, primer, top coat. Coordinators drag jobs onto crews in a practice schedule, sort a Monday-morning inbox, and check a work order against the signed estimate. Each answer is graded, with an explanation.

02

AI voice role-play.

A rep talks, out loud, with a simulated homeowner played by AI. When the conversation ends, the AI sales coach grades it against the playbook rubric and gives coached feedback on what to say differently. Coordinators and customer-experience staff practice their own calls the same way. They can run it again until they get it right.

03

Review that sticks.

Flash cards open up as each section is finished and come back for review over time. Lessons can be listened to as well as read.

Certifications

Certified means they can do it, not that they clicked through it.

A certification is earned against a real standard and reviewed by a person who knows the job.

  • Sales rep. Finish the role training, pass five voice role-plays, study the flash cards, and record a full simulated estimate that both the AI and a sales coach pass. Certified reps lead a buddy bid. Until then, they ride along.
  • Coordinator. Finish the training, pass five practice calls, and get through a simulated Monday morning that a coordination leader reviews. Certified coordinators run the schedule on their own.
  • Customer experience. Finish the training, pass the practice calls, and handle a simulated day of customer feedback. Certified staff handle escalations solo.
  • Recertification. Compliance training, like workplace standards and security awareness, recertifies every year.
Answers on Demand

Ask AI, right when the question matters.

Standing at a job and not sure what paint to apply? Your people can ask, in plain words, and get an answer on the spot — from our own playbooks, lessons and training videos, with citations to the exact page or moment the answer came from.

Our sales, coordination, operations, customer experience, marketing and finance playbooks live inside the Academy, and each person sees the ones that fit their role. Hundreds of quick-study cards drawn from them form a searchable knowledge base, and if something looks outdated or wrong, anyone can flag it for review. Step-by-step how-tos with screenshots cover the rest.

And a real support team behind them.

When the answer isn’t in the playbook, they’re not on their own. Every partner team has access to our support team — open a request from the Academy or simply email it in, and a person picks it up.

Built for Owners and Managers

Training for painting contractors that managers can actually see.

  • Progress at a glance. Managers see every person’s progress step by step, with due dates, and anyone stalled for three days or more gets flagged.
  • See what they see. A manager can view the Academy as a team member to see what’s open, what’s next and why.
  • Department dashboards. Department leaders see who’s studying, who’s struggling, which quiz questions trip people up, and where certifications have gaps.
  • On their phone. The Academy installs as an app, with reminders when something’s due.
  • Security awareness. Everyone takes cyber-awareness training, including practice inboxes and phone-scam calls, and a short refresher each year.

Aleph Academy isn’t sold separately. It comes with an Aleph partnership, alongside Wallogy, our software, and the team that yokes up with you to do the work.
